Dr. Dhir and his wife of 28 years, Nathalie Dhir, BSN, created Arizona Mohs Surgery & Dermatology to provide the best of both worlds: top-quality, experienced surgical & dermatologic care in a personable, attentive, cost-effective setting.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Dhir and Nathalie enjoy physical fitness and cooking, and spend as much time as possible with their two grown children, Joshua and Emilie, who both live in New York City. Dr. Dhir has also pursued an amateur career in automotive racing, and Nathalie has produced an award-winning feature film, Burning Kentucky.
Shelby Coplen, PA-C, Taylor Foxworthy, PA-C, and Tabitha Bayne, PA-C, joined our experienced team from 2024-26. Shelby has practiced medical & surgical dermatology in Tucson since 2018, and Taylor has worked in both dermatology and pediatrics. Tabitha has practiced Dermatology since 2015 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Tucson, and then Oregon. They also previously all worked together at another local practice. They are experts in skin cancer screenings, non-Mohs treatment of skin cancer, and treatment of rashes, psoriasis, rosacea, and acne.
Our facility was constructed using the highest quality, "Made-in-the-USA" components and local Tucson talent wherever possible. Over 94% of our building materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment is manufactured in the United States, with some surgical instruments and our Zeiss microscope sourced from Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Other than our Apple iMacs and iPads, very few items were sourced from China and only when no other viable option was available. We would like to acknowledge the outstanding work done on our behalf by local businesses such as Eglin & Bresler Architects, Venture West Construction, Goodmans Interior Structures, National Bank of Arizona, Desert Lab Studio, AV Specialists, Stat Computer Services, Illuminations, Millwork by Design, Achilles, Aztec Flooring, Effective Signs, Hall Custom Painting, and Creative Printers. The lovely ladies at the front desk could not be more accommodating. They make you feel comfortable and they're so pleasant! Your surgical assistant was so incredibly professional, but warm and friendly.

Looking back on 2003, my family and I have faced many stressful and trying times traveling back and forth from doctor's office to office. We are very fortunate to have such a caring doctor along with staff who are always willing to help in anyway possible. Thank you and your staff for not giving up and traveling down this long, hard road with me. You have always been straight up and honest with me and had my best interest in mind, not many doctors are like that and take things as personal.
Three days have passed since your removal of the cancer from my face. The pain from the surgery has been light and tolerable. There has been no need for pills to relieve this pain. There are no signs of bleeding or of swelling. You mentioned the danger to a nerve which controls the mouth, had the cancer not been removed. The body is wonderfully made! It has never occurred to me that there is a mechanism which enables us to open our mouths.
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the care, concern, and compassion you showed me yesterday when I was in for surgery. Thanks so much for explaining everything to me and for being so thorough. You have a wonderful manner about you and you really set my mind at ease. Your willingness to allow me to call you at home put you over the top! I have great respect for you and will not hesitate referring others to you. Thank you again for sharing your gifts with me.
